The Breeders' Kim Deal has announced her debut solo album, Nobody loves you moreThe album will be released on November 22 via 4AD and will feature the new single, “Crystal Breath.” Listen to it below.
The songs in Nobody loves you more Deal’s earliest records date back to 2011, when she recorded “Are You Mine?” and “Wish I Was” after leaving the Pixies’ “Lost Cities Tour.” The most recent recordings for the album were made in November 2022 with the late Steve Albini at his Electrical Audio studio in Chicago.

Contributors to the album include past and present Breeders members Mando Lopez, twin sister Kelley Deal, Jim Macpherson and Britt Walford, as well as Raconteurs' Jack Lawrence, Teenage Fanclub's Raymond McGinley and Savages members Fay Milton and Ayse Hassan.
“Crystal Breath” has an interesting origin story, as it was originally written and rejected as the theme song for a TV series about an aerobics instructor. As such, it combines lyrics like “I gotta breathe/ Then I feel good” with a fast-paced drum beat and distorted guitars.
Nobody loves you more It also includes Deal's July single, “Coast,” which marked his first solo release in nearly a decade. Prior to that, Deal released a five-part series on 7-inch vinyl from 2012 through 2014.
