In her latest release, X Amor IIKim Loaiza builds on the foundation laid by her debut in 2023, X Amor. The Mexican songstress showcases her evolving craft through an eclectic mix of genres ranging from reggaetón to Música Mexicanawith other unexpected styles. A standout track includes the opener, “5 babies,” a strong intro featuring a female lineup featuring Spanish MC Ptazeta, Mexican reggaetonera Bellakath, Argentinian lyricist Yami Safdie and Colombian rapper Fariana.
Argentinian stars LIT Killah and Nicki Nicole collaborate on the release of “Somos 3,” an electro pop track with subtle trap and Afrobeat undertones, courtesy of producers Tatool and Francisco Zecca. The single was recorded in the summer in Madrid.
Cumaná, Venezuelan newcomer MARI also released “La Carajita,” which offers a “hypnotic fusion of urban and Venezuelan llanero music, subtly transporting us to the countryside through steady falsetto lyrics like “the road is calling me” and bringing us back in the city with strong rhythms of drums, rap and cuatro,” he wrote Billboard Español's Sigal Arias-Ratner.
