Can we please have fun?, as the title suggests, is a document of the band's desire to let loose, try new things, and, yes, have fun. Recorded at Dark Horse studio in Nashville and produced with new collaborator Kid Harpoon (Harry Styles, Florence + the Machine), the album shows a new side to Kings of Leon. On the new album, the band goes back to its brave origins and at the same time finds new gears.
It's the sound of a band unified in vision and purpose, free of expectations, and the album the band says they always wanted to make.
