Kobra Paige joins Beyond the boys club to talk about his new solo album, like no other. Four years after the release of Kobra and the Lotus' most recent album, singer Kobra Paige will present her first solo work. like no other. While some of the album's songs follow Paige's melodic metal and rock tradition, other tracks on the LP mark a foray into a wide range of genres and flavors.
Going solo is a big leap for Paige. She says everything about her has her “head spinning.”
“Last night when I was going to sleep, I was telling my husband that I've never been good at social media,” she says in the show's latest episode. Beyond the boys club podcast (listen above). “I don't like how it changed. Change me. My way of acting in my life changes and my mental state worsens. But I tried to accept it and tried to attract people to help me with this launch, because I don't know how to reach people. [that I need to reach]. So, “It’s a really interesting time.”
He added that social media “can sometimes really hurt your mind,” adding: “You want to get [your music] out there, but if you try to answer everyone… I don't know… I think most people, if they were honest, would agree that it's actually not the healthiest thing to do on a regular basis . “
like no other will be released on April 5 and has been preceded by the singles “Thank you,” “Under a sun” and “I love what I hate.”
