Lady Gaga has seemingly confirmed she’s engaged to her boyfriend, Michael Polansky.
A video of the singer talking to the French Prime Minister, Gabriel Attal, at the Olympics in Paris, was shared on Instagram, where she introduced the politician to “my fiancé, Michael.”
The couple had previously sparked engagement rumours after Gaga was spotted wearing a large diamond on her left ring finger in April , but they have never confirmed the news.
The singer, 38, was first linked to the tech entrepreneur, 46, in December 2019. It’s believed they split for a while in early 2023, with sources suggesting Lady Gaga wanted to get married and have children, while Michael felt he wasn’t ready.
However, the pair remained friends and were seen together again in August 2023 for the first time in a year.
Gaga was previously engaged to Taylor Kinney from 2015 to 2016, and then to Christian Carino from 2017 to 2019.
Sources have previously told how her superstardom doesn’t affect her relationship with Michael.
“(He) brings real stability to her life,” an insider told Us Weekly in 2021, revealing they were “beyond smitten with each other” and that Gaga’s “fame” was of no interest to Polansky. “When they’re together, they are always touching, giggling and it’s obvious they really love each other.”
The Poker Face singer performed at the Olympic Opening Ceremony on Monday and has since hinted fans she might give a performance from her new album, LG7, before she leaves Paris.
She wrote on social media on Sunday, “I’m so deeply touched by my French fans this week outside the hotel – I’m gonna come out and say goodbye tonight with a few seconds of #LG7.”
