Lady Gaga has sent fans into overdrive after posting a handful of pictures from the studio.
The ‘Born This Way’ hitmaker has seemingly been hard at work on her seventh solo album – the long-awaited follow-up to 2020’s ‘Chromatica’ – and she has posted about a devil/demon, with some guessing she could be dropping a song called ‘Demon’.
However, Gaga also joked that her new album is “in the vault being protected by the devil.”
Alongside a black-and-white studio snap of herself laying down vocals and other parts, she cryptically wrote on Instagram: “Tik tok tik tok.”
Another of her playing keys was simply captioned with the demon emoji.
Although the ‘Million Reasons’ hitmaker hasn’t put out a solo record in four years, she teamed up with late music legend and dear friend, Tony Bennett, on 2021’s ‘Love for Sale’ LP, a follow-up to 2014’s ‘Cheek to Cheek’.
Gaga is yet to officially announce her seventh album.
The 37-year-old Grammy winner recently teamed up with The Rolling Stones on the duet, ‘Sweet Sounds Of Heaven’, from their latest album ‘Hackney Diamonds’.
Frontman Sir Mick Jagger shared how Gaga got “slightly competitive” in the recording studio.
The 80-year-old rocker had a “great experience” working with the ‘House of Gucci’ actress on the track – which also features Stevie Wonder on keys – because he enjoyed watching her grow in confidence as the session progressed.
Speaking to Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, he said: “She’s a really great singer and I’d never heard her sing quite that style before. Not exactly.
“We did it live in the room and that was a great experience, her just coming in the room and her just opening up and seeing her bits and feeling her way and then getting more confident.
“And then we came back and then did some extra parts that we hadn’t done on the day and then we did some tidying up and we were just in the overdub room, really face-to-face, getting them really tight, the parts really tight, and then being slightly competitive and screaming.”
