Lady Gaga thanks fans for 'Die With a Smile' love: 'The Power of Music Is Real'

Lady Gaga took to Instagram on Thursday (August 22) to celebrate the love she and Bruno Mars have been receiving for their new collaboration, “Die With a Smile.”

“To see fans from all over the world celebrate this music meant so much to me, to see the words of the song touch your heart and the video to cause this huge wave of dancing and fun is beautiful to see and I am so grateful. ,” she wrote alongside a series of photos, in which Gaga appears in her retro-style outfit from the track's accompanying music video. “Thank you, thank you for loving our song I love you really and I hope the message of love we shared continues to create special moments for all of you in your lives—I know it does in mine every day. The power of music is great and your love for this song reminded me of that.”

Shortly after the project was taken down last week, the Joker star and “Uptown Funk!” The hitmaker debuted “Die With a Smile” live at Ari's concert on Thursday night (August 15) at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. For the show, he wore a cowboy hat, while Gaga again sported bee hair similar to her look in the music video, keeping with the song's retro feel.

After the drop, Gaga took to TikTok to share a video in which she can be seen singing along to her newly released collaboration, sporting a bright blue makeup look while sweetly cradling a tiny French bulldog.
