Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe has announced a new book titled Beyond the Light: Living with the War Inside My HeadIt is scheduled to arrive on February 18, 2025 via Hachette Book Group.
It is Blythe's second book after the one from 2015. Dark days: an autobiographywhich recounts the singer's imprisonment for alleged murder in the Czech Republic and his subsequent acquittal.

Monitoring, Beyond the lightThe book will focus on different aspects of Blythe's life over the years. The publisher describes the book as “a fascinating and revealing memoir about personal development and maintaining proper perspective in difficult times.” In her own words, Blythe called it a “tight and concise roadmap of how I've tried to maintain what I believe to be proper perspective in life, even in difficult times.”
The singer spoke about her upcoming memoir in a recent interview with RVA magazine.
“It’s about trying to keep a balanced perspective on the world today, and to do that, I have to look at other people I admire,” Blythe said. “One of those people I write about is my grandmother, who was 94. I was there for her when she died and I was grateful for that because it was after COVID. I interviewed her for two days and got to know her life. I asked her what the biggest difference is between [her generation] “The modern era we’re in now – he didn’t say computers or globalization; he said people aren’t as close as they used to be.”
