LAMC Unveils List of 2024 Latin Music Fan Honorees

The LAMC (Latin Alternative Music Conference) will honor a group of 22 women in the 2024 LAMC Wonder Women of Latin Music program, Advertising sign can announce today (March 12). Journalists, journalists and executives from many areas of the music business will be recognized in partnership with Amazon Music.

Beginning in 2020, Wonder Women of Latin Music is part of LAMC and kicks off as a virtual event April 24-26 before concluding with a live event taking place in New York City July 9-13 (for more info , click here). Wonder Women recognizes women in all areas of the Latinx industry and, to date, has honored more than 100 women and celebrated them through a social media campaign.

“As we embark on the fifth consecutive year of the Wonder Women of Latin Music Awards in partnership with LAMC, I am excited to commemorate the remarkable achievements of women in our industry,” says Rocío Guerrero, Global Head of Latin Music for Amazon Music. “Let us continue to recognize, encourage and express our deep appreciation for these pioneers, as their unwavering commitment is vital to ensuring the lasting global influence of Latin music.”

This year's class of Wonder Women features several music journalists, including Griselda Flores; Advertising sign's senior editor, Latin. Past honorees have included Leila Cobo, Advertising sign's Chief content officer for Latin/Español. Sigal Ratner-Arias, its associate editor Billboard Español; Isabela Raygoza, associate editor of Advertising sign Spain, and his Florencia Mauro Billboard Argentina. The list, which is curated by LAMC and honors “women making a difference in the industry”, also includes veteran journalists such as Róndine Alcalá, Lyda Bulla and Rocío Gutiérrez, among others.
