Lana Del Rey is shipping up to Boston to play her first stadium show.
The special, one-night-only gig will take place June 20 at Fenway Park. Tickets will go on sale Friday, May 10, at 10 a.m. local time via Live Nation. An artist presale will take place May 8 at 10 a.m., with full details available on Del Rey’s website.
The Fenway show was announced on the heels of Del Rey’s headlining sets at Coachella last month. During weekend one, she welcomed special guest Billie Eilish for performances of “Ocean Eyes” and “Video Games,” while weekend two featured a special appearance from Camila Cabello for a performance of her new single, “I Luv It.” On top of all that, Jack Antonoff and Jon Batiste joined Del Rey on stage both weekends, as well.
After Coachella, Del Rey made a surprise appearance of her own, joining Paul Cauthen at Stageooach to cover the Righteous Brothers classic, “Unchained Melody.”
As it stands, Del Rey has just one other North American gig this summer, a headlining set at Hangout Fest in Alabama later this month. Otherwise, she’ll spend most of the summer touring Europe, with festival dates in Spain, Italy, Portugal, the U.K., and France.
Del Rey released her most recent album, album, Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, last year, and she recently teased her next LP, Lasso, a country record that’s expected to arrive in September. “We’re going country. It’s happening,” Del Rey said at a pre-grammy event in Los Angeles back in February. “That’s why Jack [Antonoff] has followed me to Muscle Shoals, Nashville, Mississippi, over the last four years.”
