Rankings for the Top TV Songs chart are based on song and show data provided by Tunefind and are ranked using a formula that combines this data with sales and streaming information tracked by Luminate during the corresponding period of March 2024.

As of March 2024, “Video Games” garnered 8.2 million official US on-demand streams and 1,000 downloads, according to Luminate. The song was Del Rey's breakout track and her first appearance on the Billboard Hot 100, debuting and peaking at No. 91 in January 2012.

“Video Games” leads a trio of songs from 3 Body problem on Top TV Songs, giving the new series an admirable first chart crown for which it qualifies. Echo & the Bunnymen's “The Killing Moon” follows at No. 4 (1.5 million streams) and the Rolling Stones' “Moonlight Mile” is also at No. 8 (310,000 streams). “The Killing Moon” is from the series premiere, while “Moonlight Mile” is heard in the second episode.

The top non3 Body problem the song, meanwhile, belongs Resident alien, after using Harry Chapin's “Cat's in the Cradle.” The track bows at No. 2 thanks to 4.2 million streams and 1,000 downloads.

Resident aliena Syfy series that premiered its third season in February, boasted “Cat's in the Cradle” in its seventh episode of the season, which premiered on March 27. It was a No. 1 hit for Chapin on the Hot 100 in 1974, his only skipper.
