The band finally leaves the confines of New York for a spring tour that starts in Mexico and ends in Chicago
LCD Soundsystem has announced the dates for a short North American tour they're calling “Somewhat” that will kick off this spring.
Kicking off in Guadalajara, Mexico in March, the group's first US date (excluding a festival headliner at the Kilby Block Party in Salt Lake City) will be at the Hayden Homes Amphitheater in Bend, Oregon on May 14. They will play four nights at Seattle's Paramount Theater in May, followed by one night at the Armory in Minneapolis. The tour will conclude with four shows in Chicago at the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom.
tickets will go on sale at 10am local time and fans can register for tickets on the band's website.
In addition to their North American dates, LCD Soundsystem will also be playing a number of dates across Europe, including All Points East festival in London and Down the Rabbit Hole in the Netherlands.
