Last month, Hip-Hop culture was shocked when news broke of the sudden death of legendary DJ Clark Kent. With many of his peers paying tribute in the coming days, NBA legend LeBron James paid tribute in his own way.
Recently, the NBA icon modeled on a pair of exclusive Air Force 1s Lows that were dedicated to the memory of “God's beloved” DJ and truth be told, they are low-key. The classic silhouette was outfitted with a reflective base in a color reminiscent of the “Easter” Air Force 1 colorway with the word “GODs” emblazoned on one heel tab and “Beloved” emblazoned on the other. The tongue of the sneaker also has a “DJ Clark Kent” patch in case no one knows who “God's Favorite” DJ is.

If you know anything about DJ Clark Kent, he was a sneaker connoisseur before sneaker culture was the “in” thing to be a part of and had a collection of kicks that would rival some of your favorite artists.
Of course, we doubt these will ever see the light of day, as Nike is notorious for giving athletes like LeBron James and artists like Travis Scott their own exclusive sneaker colorways for friends and family. However, don't be surprised if a pair of these make it to the sneaker resale market as player and artist exclusives have been known to slip into the secondary market here and there.
Expect to pay a retainer, though, as rare sneakers fetch big bucks.
