LEGO pays tribute to Steven Spielberg's groundbreaking 1975 summer blockbuster Jaws with a new set. To promote the launch, LEGO has also shared a “brick-busting” short film titled Jaws in a flash.
Created by Irish Jaws and LEGO fan Johnny Campbell, The set of 1,497 pieces Features minifigures of movie characters Martin Brody (Roy Scheider), Matt Hooper (Richard Dreyfuss) and Sam Quint (Robert Shaw) as they confront the shark from the deck of their boat, the Killer whaleSee a photo gallery below.
In addition to the boat, minifigures and the infamous shark (aka “Bruce”), the Jaws The set includes accessories such as a revolver, a compass, a fishing rod, a harpoon, a spear and yellow barrels.
“I actually froze the image Jaws “I looked at it so I could keep an eye on the finer details and take notes as I went along,” Campbell said in a statement. “It’s just mind-blowing that my design is now an official LEGO set. I can’t wait to be in a LEGO store looking at the shelves and see a set I’ve been involved with and see someone buying it.”
