Lenny Kravitz is ready to welcome Channing Tatum into his family.
The rocker appeared on Thursday’s (March 21) episode of Sherri, where he told host Sherri Shepherd that meeting the actor, who is engaged to his only child Zoë Kravitz, was “very natural,” adding, “He’s very sweet and it works. Life is about timing and what you’ve gone through, what you’ve learned, and they’re in the right place.”
Lenny continued, “He’s a great guy. We got on really well. We have our own relationship as well. We hang out. He’s a very soulful human being, he was raised well, he has manners and class.”
As for whether or not he’s planning to give a speech at the upcoming wedding, the “It Ain’t Over ‘Til It’s Over” singer said, “Of course, that’s my daughter.”
Lenny’s comments come just a couple months after People reported that the couple, who have been dating since 2021, had wedding bells in their future. Just last week, the duo were in attendance at Lenny’s ceremony to unveil his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
“He makes me laugh and we both really love art and talking about art and the exploration of why we do what we do,” Zoë told GQ of her relationship with Tatum in a November 2022 cover story. “We love to watch a film and break it down and talk about it and challenge each other.”
