Liam Gallagher and John Squire of The Stone Roses stopped by Tonight's show starring Jimmy Fallon Tuesday night they will perform their single “I'm a Wheel.”
Bathed in bright yellow lights, Gallagher and Squire deliver a waltz-and-blues performance of “I'm a Wheel,” the fourth single released from their collaborative album. Squire delivers a handful of expressive guitar lines with a crisp feel on the right side. Gallagher, meanwhile, holds a pair of maracas for the performance and barely uses them, save for a few sparse shakes during Squire's solos (he also taps them lightly with a tambourine at one point). His voice, however, sounds brave, inspired and anthemic. Watch the performance below.
Liam Gallagher and John Squire's appearance comes in support of their collaborative debut album, Liam Gallagher, which arrived on March 1. The duo recently played several shows in the UK and Europe, and are in New York City to play Brooklyn's new venue, The Brooklyn Paramount, tomorrow, April 11 (get tickets here).
Gallagher will then return across the pond for a series of shows to celebrate Oasis' 30th anniversary. It definitely can be, which begins in June. Get tickets to Gallagher's international dates at viagogo.
