The game is a remaster of the highly acclaimed 2011 Sonic Generations. It's described as “a time-traveling adventure featuring a collection of the greatest hits 3D and 2D Sonic stages from the past three decades of Sonic games.”
The game will feature upgraded visuals, redesigned cinematics, and new bonus content, making it the definitive version of the game.
Shadow fans will be happy to know that the game will also have an all-new story campaign that will showcase Shadow's new abilities, also known as The Ultimate Life Form.
The game will be released on October 25, 2024. It will be available for $49.99 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 (PS4), Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, the Nintendo Switch family of systems, and PC.
