The 2025 tour begins with three dates in Mexico in late January and early February, before visiting Japan and Indonesia in mid-February. Following a previously announced April 12 appearance at the Sick New World festival in Las Vegas, Linkin Park will kick off the first leg of the North American tour on April 26 in Austin, Texas. A leg between the UK and Europe will take place in June and July, followed by a second leg in North America from July 29 in Brooklyn, New York, to September 24 in Seattle. Among the new dates is a May 17 headlining appearance at the Welcome to Rockville festival in Daytona Beach, which comes a week after the band's already announced May 10 appearance at the Sonic Temple festival in Columbus. , Ohio.
Opening acts on select dates include Spiritbox, AFI, Architects, grandson, Jean Dawson, JPEGMAFIA and PVRIS. A special show on September 13 in their hometown at Dodger Stadium will include support from Queens of the Stone Age.
Linkin Park returned earlier this year with a revamped lineup that includes new members Emily Armstrong (co-vocals), Colin Brittain (drums), and Alex Feder (touring guitarist). Classic members Mike Shinoda (co-vocals), Joe Hahn (turntables) and Dave “Phoenix” Farrell are also on board, while guitarist Brad Delson recorded the new album with the band but opted not to tour.
“Getting back on the road has been amazing,” Shinoda said. “The fan support is overwhelming and we are ready to take this energy even further around the world. From scratch “It is a new chapter for us and we are very excited to share it with everyone on a larger scale.”
Armstrong, who also fronts the band Dead Sara, is essentially filling the shoes of late singer Chester Bennington. Sadly, Bennington took his own life on July 20, 2017, just a week before Linkin Park began a North American tour in support of their album O.ne More light.
From scratch marks Linkin Park's first album since one more light. The LP has already produced the singles “The Emptiness Machine,” “Heavy Is the Crown,” and “Over Each Other,” and the band unveiled another new song, “Two Faced,” on Wednesday night (Nov. 13).
After playing select cities throughout the fall, Linkin Park will conclude their 2024 tour schedule with a pair of shows in São Paulo, Brazil, this Friday (November 15) and Saturday (November 16).
