Lionlimb Share Video for New Song “Dream of You” (Feat. Angel Olsen)

Lionlimb release new album, Hallway to hell, on May 24 via Bayonet. Now they've shared his second single, “Dream of You,” featuring Angel Olsen, who also appears in the video. Check it out below.

Lionlimb is the project of New York-based Stewart Bronaugh and also features Joshua Jaeger. Bronaugh and Jaeger have also both appeared in Olsen's touring band.

“Our new song 'Dream of You' featuring the amazing Angel Olsen is out today. I wrote it for my dog ​​that I lost two years ago,” Bronaugh says in a press release. “I had a recurring dream that he was still alive and I had to hug him, kiss him and smell him again. It was so real and even though the song might not reflect that, it was the happiest feeling ever.”

“I've been a fan of Lionlimb since 2012, and for a while – part of the band toured with me and recorded on albums Burn your fire for no witnessand My wifeOlsen says. “So naturally, when Stewart asked me to sing on 'Dream of You,' I knew it was going to be vibey and beautiful. I tried to get involved in the recording and sing more in a way that complemented the dream setting of the song and its story Hallway to hell.”

Olsen's latest album, Big timeit was one of ours The 100 best albums of 2022. In 2023 the new EP was released, Forever means.

Previously shared by Lionlimb Hallway to hellhis first single, “Hurricane”, via a music video. “Hurricane” was one of the songs of the week.

Hallway to hell 2021 follows Spiral Groove. A press release says the new album was “inspired by a palette of '70s Italian film soundtracks, '60s girl group music and funk and soul ballads.”

“When I'm working on music, it's like I'm trying to make my own world,” Bronaugh says in the press release. “It's that feeling of wanting to exist somewhere else. I'm trying to express something and get out of my head and body.”

Of the new single, he adds: “'Hurricane' is about escaping and finding THAT feeling that puts you in a state of flow, away from the stress and discomfort of being human. Creativity can help, and then there are other ways that are much more harmful. This song is about saying goodbye, but I feel like I'm always looking for that next thing.”
