Learn about the history and legacy of Blue Note Records.
Recorded in Devon Turnbull’s Listening Room at The Vinyl Factory: Reverb exhibition, the first of Haseeb Iqbal’s summer listening sessions is a journey through the history and records of jazz powerhouse Blue Note Records.
Celebrating the discography, story and sound of Blue Note Records in the intimate setting of the Listening Room, DJ, broadcaster and writer Haseeb moves from the late 1950s to the early 1970s with his record selections whilst contextualising them in the wider development of Blue Note and jazz as a whole.
