Who knew DJ Snake had a dark side?
Last month, Excision brought together some of the biggest names in dubstep and bass for the dazzling 2024 edition of Lost Lands. While their lineups have evolved each year, last month's festival featured the most musically diverse lineup in its history, giving fans many more options outside of the realm of bass.
Before the French superstar took the stage, he teased a new alias that will be performing among the dinosaurs, The OUTLAW. The posts were cryptic, but he said Excision had told him to be as tough as he wanted with no rules. The result was a stunning performance filled with merciless dubstep, dark techno, and even some surprising tears that left attendees buzzing all weekend long.
For those who weren't able to witness The OUTLAW's debut in person, Snake has shared the entire hour-long performance on his SoundCloud. Fans can hear every part of the set from the intro to the end, as Snake demonstrated why an EDM headliner can fit right in at the world's biggest bass festival.
