Skrillex fans already know that good things come to those who wait. The electronic music icon finally released “Push,” a highly anticipated collaboration with EDM.com Class of 2024 star Hamdi.
Seemingly forever ago, the two producers began teasing “Push,” which features Argentinian rapper TAICHU. They have now officially released the mesmerizing dubstep track, one of the most coveted on the electronic music scene after its appearance on Skrillex and Hamdi's DJ sets for over a year. The former was even dropped during his historic headlining performance at Coachella.
Arriving as Skrillex fans wait with bated breath for a pair of new albums, “Push” delves into both artists' respective production arsenals. While Skrillex's mastery on bass is well known, this takes Hamdi's rising career to the next level as his penchant for 140 UK dubstep shines through.
Meanwhile, TAICHU's intoxicating verses are expertly woven into the beat, mesmerizing us from start to finish. It's only a matter of time before “Push” becomes one of the hottest DJ tools of the summer, now that it's no longer a secret weapon.
