“I really showed the world how to love yourself and not bleed to the point where these men in Colorado know who the hell I am and put it in their cartoon,” the singer says.
Lizzo reacted to a news South Park especially for championing her stance on body positivity amid the Ozempic and similar weight loss fads.
“Guys, my worst fear has come true: I've been featured in an episode of South Park. I'm so scared,” Lizzo said on TikTok before doing a live side-by-side of the South Park episode titled “The End of Obesity.”
In the episode, Lizzo is a quasi-drug inspired by the singer as an alternative to expensive drugs like Ozempic. “I'm going to write you a prescription for Lizzo,” says a doctor in the episode. “She's a really good singer who talks about body positivity and is just happy with how you look. I want you to listen to Lizzo five times a day and watch her videos just before bed. I'm afraid you'll have to be in Lizzo for the rest of your life.'
One user says they “felt so ashamed of myself” before being prescribed FDA-approved Lizzo, which “makes you feel good about your weight.” “Seventy percent of Lizzo patients no longer care how much they weigh,” claims the faux-Lizzo ad. “Ask about the power of not laughing with Lizzo.”
Lizzo, overjoyed by the outcry, added on TikTok: “This is crazy. I just feel like, damn, I really am such a bitch,” she says. “I really showed the world how to love yourself and not bleed to the point where these men in Colorado know who the hell I am and put it in their cartoon that's been around for 25 years.”
She continued, “I'm really that bitch and I'm showing you how not to fuck and I'm gonna keep showing you how not to fuck,” before taking a look at the song from the Ozempic ad (though she does appear to sing the O'Reilly Auto theme Parts instead of Pilot's “Magic”.)
