It looks of Clipse The wishes of the fans will finally be granted. Brothers Thornton have confirmed they have a new album on the way.
As spotted on Hypebeast, The Virginia duo made an appearance at the Louis Vuitton Spring Summer 2025 menswear show in Paris, France, to support their friend and frequent collaborator Pharrell Williams. Not only did the show debut the company's upcoming ready to wear collection, but also a new song from The Clipse. Titled 'Birds Don't Sing', the song deals with the death of their parents and the grief that followed.
The group was recently interview with Vulture and they discussed various topics including the new track. When asked how it came about Pusha revealed that it all came from a conversation they had with famed producer turned Creative Director Louis Vuitton. “On this particular day, me and Pharrell were talking about our mom passing away. Jin, are you here?' revealed Pusha T. “Even with their passing, I still see them giving — giving with this record, the legacy that they left that we can share with the whole world. Anyone who has lost someone will be able to relate,” Malice added.
The brothers later confirmed that a new album is on the way. “I think the album shows the ultimate maturity of a rap duo. I think this is where you get the difference between flavor and filling. This music is curated. This is a high level taste project,” explained Pusha T. “You can only have that level of taste when you have the basics down to a science. I think it's definitely missing. Then there's the competitive aspect.”
