Lorde Shouts Out To Her Boyfriend Charli XCX Ahead Of The Release Of The latter's Hotly Anticipated New album Brat.

Charli XCX's sixth studio album arrives on Friday (June 7), led by the frenetic single “Von Dutch” and followed by “360.”
Talking to you Advertising sign at this year's Women in Music 2024 event, Charli said that BRAT is a club record meant to evoke London's illegal rave scene of the early 2000s, where he started performing as a 14- and 15-year-old, produced from a tight collection of sounds to create “this unique minimalism that's very powerful and bold. ”
She also said the album is “very direct” eschewing “metaphor and flowery lyricism” for language closer to the way she talks to her friends over text messages. “This record is everything I would talk about with my friends, exactly how I would say it. It's in a way very aggressive and confrontational, but also very conversational and personal,” he said. “And not in that boring way that artists say, 'This is my most personal record.'
