Paramount has released the official trailer for A peaceful place: Day one, a spin-off prequel to John Krasinski's 2018 and 2020 apocalyptic horror films.
Released in theaters on June 28. A Quiet Place: Day One shows us “why the world fell silent.” Naturally, there's no dialogue in the trailer, other than a “shh” – but we do see fragments of Lupita Nyong'o and Strange things Escapee Joseph Quinn continues his normal life in Manhattan before all hell breaks loose.
A Quiet Place: Day One was directed and written by Michael Sarnoski, and this time Krasinski again took on the role of producer. The new film welcomes new cast members Alex Wolff and Denis O'Hare, and brings back Djimon Hounsou, who played the unnamed “island man” in A quiet place Part II.

Krasinski will also write and direct the upcoming A quiet place part III, Currently scheduled for release in 2025.
