Maceo Plex has presented a new album, '93a celebration of his prolific career.
Plex deftly weaves genres into the diverse album, producing house, techno, garage, breaks and even hip-hop. The result is a dynamic and versatile project that reflects a coming of age, paying homage to the three decades of dance music that led to this moment.
While '93 is a departure from Plex's sound, but stays true to their commitment to exploring new musical territories. Released by Lone Romantic, the 15-track album features a number of compelling collaborations, such as “Get Out Of Here,” which features famed Jane's Addiction frontman and Lollapalooza founder Perry Farrell. Complementing the release is a feature film filmed at Barcelona's Input, where Maceo Plex weaves the entire album together in a fascinating way. Film production adds an artistic dimension to '93bringing the album to life with visuals, lighting and captivating appearances from its featured artists.
