Madonna celebrated yet another successful Oscars afterparty via Instagram on Monday (March 11), and the Queen of Pop also shouted out one of the night’s biggest winners.
“Oscar Party was FUN! Not exactly a night off for a girl that i needs a night off but I’m so happy I got to meet my favorite A.C.T.O.R,” she wrote before mentioning Cillian Murphy in the hashtag. In the accompanying snaps, Madge posed around her bash in a Marie Antoinette-inspired outfit and even smiled for a photo with the Oppenheimer star himself.
“Congratulations,” Madonna concluded her caption, as Murphy took home his first best actor Oscar on Sunday night (March 10) for his role as J. Robert Oppenheimer. See Madonna’s post here.
Madonna and Guy Oseary’s annual exclusive Oscars afterparty in the Hollywood Hills featured appearances from major stars including Robert De Niro, Matthew McConaughey, Jodie Turner-Smith, Lenny Kravitz, Salma Hayek and more.
British Vogue also reported that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were in attendance at the private event — which does not allow phones — though Billboard did not hear back from the couple’s reps at the time of publication to confirm their attendance.
Madge, meanwhile, is in the midst of the west coast swing of her Celebration tour. The iconic singer’s trek is a career-spanning look back on her hits, personal struggles, pop culture impact and enduring influence.
