Aaron Smith, aka Shwayzealso referred to as the King of Summer and Malibu's Most Wanted, recently released his latest album, Shwaycation. In this new summer anthem, Shwayze returns to his signature beach party vibe. Tracks 'Tequila', 'Single for the Summer', 'I Pray' and 'Mine' showcase his lyrical skills and smooth, tasteful reggae harmonies. Tracks like 'West Coast', 'Smoke Too Soon', 'Promises', 'Kick Back', 'Champagne Problems', 'Book a Flight' and 'Party in the Hills' highlight his direct rap flows and catchy choruses . This album follows his previous release, Shway SZN.
This is Shwayze's eighth album to date and his fifth solo album. He initially worked with Cisco on the first three projects before embarking on a solo career. The album features contributions from Bryce Vine, Ripe, Common Kings, Kes, J. Lauryn and Wiz Khalifa.
Shwayze first rose to prominence in 2007 alongside White Star member Cisco Adler as a duo, releasing their debut self-titled album. Their notable classics like “Corona and Lime” and “Buzzin'” helped establish Shwayze in underground hip-hop. From freestyling on stage to collaborating with Cisco, Shwayze has made a name for himself in the genre. With Shwayze, the party continues long after the summer is over.
