Megan Thee Stallion certainly made waves with the poster announcing the dates for her upcoming Hot Girl Summer 2024 tour. The outing poster featured a magazine cover-like image of the rapper lying on her stomach in a shallow pool wearing a silver thong bikini.
According tour-announcement-flagged-by-instagram” target=”_blank”>HipHopDX, the provocative image was flagged by Instagram, which reportedly suggested the photo was a little too sexy for public consumption. “Hot women GET READY TO COME FUN WITH ME AT THEE HOT GIRL SUMMER EVENT,” the original post was captioned, prompting the hotties to get their outfits ready nowwww!
In a subsequent Insta Story, Meg posted a screenshot of a warning she allegedly received from Instagram informing her that the cheeky photo may have violated the social media company's guidelines, which could lead to limits on her account.
“No it's just a cheek lol,” Meghan reportedly commented. An Instagram representative could not be reached for comment at press time.
At the time, Meg only announced the cities on the tour, with venues and final dates set for Wednesday (March 20). What we do know for now is that the tour is scheduled to kick off in Minneapolis and hit Chicago, Detroit, New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Memphis, Atlanta, Raleigh, Hollywood and Tampa, FL, New Orleans, Dallas, Austin, Houston, Denver, Phoenix, Los Angeles and Las Vegas before heading overseas for a run of European shows.
Meg's tour comes on the heels of her first solo No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Hiss” in February. “Hiss” is still hanging around the chart, where it sits at No. 94 this week. While no announcement had been made at press time, fans were hoping the MC could release a new album before hitting the road, which would mark her first LP since 2022. Traumatazine.
