Megan Thee Stallion is enjoying her time on the road and reuniting with Hotties across the country, but there is one request she has for the crowd when it comes to respecting her space.
The “Hiss” rapper performed a pair of sold-out shows at the Toyota Center in her hometown of Houston over the weekend, and one part of Saturday's (June 15) concert that went viral was when Meg paused to let her emotions out. it is known for the weed that is smoked around it.
“I said don't blow that weed from me. I don't want to be high. If I get high, the show's over,” he playfully said in the fan-recorded video. “I'm going to the hospital. Call the police.”
Some in the crowd didn't know how to react, while others laughed as Meg briefly paced the stage, waiting for the next song to begin. The rest of the show also seemed to go on without interruption.
Many of Meghan's Hotties flocked to her defense on social media after the light-hearted rant.
“Megan has expressed in the past (in her music essentially) that weed doesn't agree with her, so she honestly said the show would have to stop if she got high because of the negative physiological effect it has on her,” one person said. wrote to X. “There was no threat and it's her right to suggest people at her concert keep it away from her.”
Added another, “Listen, I enjoy 1 weed as much as the next person, but if you have to sneak into an event, you have to go see this lady. There was a girl in front of me smoking at the concert last night, I was so mad. Nobody wants to smell like smoke.”
The Hot Girl Summer tour continues in the weed-friendly state of Colorado with a show at Denver's Ball Arena on Monday night (June 17). MTS is starting to heat up for the summer as they release their highly anticipated album MEGAN on June 28.
