Megan Thee Stallion & GloRilla Talk About The First Time They Met: 'You Come Off As Stand-Offish'

Megan Thee Stallion and GloRilla have become close friends since teaming up and stepping out together for Meg's Hot Girl Summer tour earlier this year.

The “Wanna Be” duo linked up on Instagram Only close friends podcast, which released its full episode on Thursday (August 15) following a teaser earlier in the week.

Although Big Glo and the Houston hottie are tight these days, that wasn't always the case as they were candid when asked about their honest initial impression of each other when they first linked up.

“I first met you at your Hottieween party last year, and I won't lie, I was kind of shy,” Glo said. “You just acted like you didn't drink that night… I'm like, 'This b—h doesn't act like he doesn't drink, like, what's up with this b—h?'”

The CMG rapper continued: “You were beautiful when I first met you, by God. I remember when someone took a video of us when I first met you and we were hugging like we felt like a grandma hugging from one side to the other. Where have you been all my life? You were sweet as f–k. I mean, like you come off as a dead end. You leave like you're nice, but you stay indifferent. That's why I told you I was shy.”

As for Meghan's impression of Glo, she didn't know if the hype and craziness of Instagram would really match her personality in real life.

“I really didn't know what you were going to be like before I met you,” Meg said. “I was like OK, from afar, you've got the turn, but I didn't know how much of a turn it was going to be. I don't know if it was some bulls– for, like, Instagram, or if it would be real life. But when I met you, I said, “Yes, he could be my cousin! This is my people!' Well, yeah, I thought you were really sweet and I thought you were funny.”

While they were together, their friendship grew with candid moments taking place like when Megan surprised Glo with flowers for her birthday and the Memphis native returned the favor to Houston when she presented the Stallion with a custom “M” plaque.

“Love the bond me and @glorillapimp have formed these past few weeks!” Megan Thee Stallion captioned June Post on Instagram. “You're my sister 4L, you and coke never get rid of me.”

Glo responded in the comments section: “I love you 4L Meg [heart emoji, teary-eyed emoji] I'm so glad I did a tour with you that I wouldn't have it any other way [party emoji] I can't wait to hear this hot shit, ahhh so excited.”

Megan and GloRilla's “Wanna Be” has maintained a top 20 position on the Billboard Hot 100, where it sits at No. 13 on this week's chart.
