Metallica has announced preliminary details for this year’s Helping Hands concert and auction, which will once again be hosted by comedian Jimmy Kimmel. The event will take place on December 13 at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles.
The concert and auction raise money for the band. Foundation All in my handswhich focuses on workforce education, hunger relief, disaster relief and other causes.

Serious consequence He was present at the previous Helping Hands benefit show, which took place in December 2022 and raised more than $3 million. That event, also hosted by Kimmel, featured acoustic and electric sets from Metallica, along with an opening performance from Greta Van Fleet, as well as appearances from Robert Downey Jr., St. Vincent, Tony Hawk, Tom Morello and more.
So far, no other artists or guests have been announced for the 2024 edition other than Metallica. A press release promises that the full lineup will be revealed shortly.
