On February, MGK (ex-Machine Gun Kelly) debuted the massive blackout tattoo that covers most of his torso, and on Monday (April 1), the rocker took fans through the painstaking process of getting the ink done.
The star chose a tattoo artist Roxx for the project, which lasted, as expected, over several sessions. “This is the most painful thing I've ever experienced,” MGK said two weeks after the procedure. She captioned the post, “So…what else do I get now?”
The 'Bloody Valentine' rocker took to Instagram on Tuesday (February 20) to show off his new ink, a massive blackout tattoo covering his chest and arms. The negative space in the chest area shows a cross, while his hands create a glimpse of his previous tattoos. His old stomach ink is still visible, including his “Locals Only” bit and the “I want change” tattoo.
“For intellectual purposes only,” he captioned the post, which you can see here.
The star is fresh off a new joint Genre: Sadboy EP featuring Trippie Redd, which arrived Friday (March 29).
The EP is guest-free apart from an appearance from JID and features 10 tracks in total, including their brooding single “lost boys”. MGK's last album, 2022 Mainstream Selloutdebuted at No. 1 atop the Billboard 200 with 93,000 album sales.
