On Christmas Day, MIA will be giving her fans a new mixtape called Collection of bells.
The 16-track collection will be released via MIA's website, ohmni.com, on December 25 at 3:00 pm GMT. A press release describes the project as “a rebel storm, a synoptic edition of music, created and mixed in Angel, London by MIA in December 2023. MIA embellishes sounds and words that showcase a spectrum of artists and producers. Incredi-bell! The mixtape has a signature sound that deliberately spans time, geography, race, age and space. An unlimited frequency, without gender. A true and cool audio-bell vibration. A ringing in your ears.
The tracklist includes songs titled “FREE PALI” and “BELLA HADID,” as well as collaborations with Skrillex, Blaqstarr, and Troy Baker.
In a statement, MIA wrote: “I PRESENT TO YOU A GIFT FROM THE EAST, WONDER STAR OF THE NIGHT. BEAUTY. BRIGHT. SACRED. COSMIC. MAGNETISM. A COLLABORATION WITH GOD, LIMITED EDITION LISTEN ONLY ON OHMNI.COM.”
