Kill Bill star Michael Madsen was arrested over the weekend on a domestic violence charge, according to TMZ.
Madsen was arrested on Saturday (August 17th) after allegedly pushing his wife and locking her out of their home in the Los Angeles area during an argument. He was brought into jail by deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The frequent Quentin Tarantino collaborator was released from custody after posting a $20,000 bond. His team shared the following statement: “It was a disagreement between Michael and his wife, which we hope resolves positively for them both.”
Madsen’s filmography also includes notable roles in Reservoir Dogs, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and The Hateful Eight. He was previously arrested for trespassing in February 2022 — one month after his son died by suicide. In 2019, he received a brief jail sentence for a drunk driving crash that took place earlier that year.
