When it comes to acting, Miley Cyrus is always great — and it looks like her appearance on Netflix My next guest needs no introduction with David Letterman will not be an exception.
In a clip from her upcoming episode — premiering Wednesday on the streamer — Cyrus holds court in a dimly lit performance space, where she explains her terms for appearing on the Letterman-hosted show.
“You were going to introduce me, but I'll introduce you youCyrus tells Letterman. “David Letterman is here. In true spirit, David Letterman asked me to be on his show, but I like to do things my way. And so I turned it on him and said, “You can be in my projection.' So this is my show.”
Next, Cyrus gives herself a challenge before performing an untitled song — possibly her 2023 Grammy-winning record of the year “Flowers.”
“How much extra do you think I can be in this song cycle? Should I try to be as much as I can?' asks the crowd, with shouts of “yes.” “OKAY!” promises.
We'll have to wait until Wednesday to see which song she drops, and fans will also be able to watch her full interview with Letterman on the show. In a trailer released last month, Cyrus tells the host, “My biggest fear was getting fired, and now how good does that sound? Whenever someone says, “Oh, he can kick you — maybe he doesn't want you to do that anymore.” I say, 'Thank God!'”
Check out the new clip below and catch her full performance via Netflix on Wednesday.
