The Ministry of Industrial Legends have released their sixteenth studio album, HOPIUM FOR THE MASSES. The LP is now available to stream below.
HOPIUM FOR THE MASSES features Ministry mastermind Al Jourgensen doing what he does best: delivering scathing commentary on the state of the world through a sonic assault of searing industrial music. The first singles “Goddam White Trash”, “Just Stop Oil” (named one of our best metal and hard rock songs of 2023) and “BDE” (“Big Dick Energy”) didn't have much success, and that energy evens out on the rest of the album.
Highlighting HOPIUM FOR THE MASSES There are guest spots from Pepper Keenan of Corrosion of Conformity (“Goddam White Trash”), Eugene Hutz of Gogol Bordello (“Cult of Suffering”) and punk icon Jello Biafra (“Aryan Embarrassment”).
The Ministry recently embarked on a major tour in support of HOPIUM FOR THE MASSES with support from Gary Numan and Front Line Assembly, with tickets stream-button/destination:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.stubhub.com%2Fministry-tickets%2Fperformer%2F25793″ target=”_blank” rel=”nofollow noopener”>available here.
