This year marks the 20th anniversary of Modest Mouse's indie rock classic, Good news for people who love bad news. An expanded reissue of the album was released last Friday and the band also has plans to go on a celebratory tour.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Modest Mouse frontman Isaac Brock revealed that he is tentatively planning a fall tour with the surviving band members who played on the album. (Drummer Benjamin Weikel would replace the late Jeremiah Green.)

“It's the only record where I can tour with all the members alive, all exactly the same,” Brock explained.
Brock also confirmed that he has written new music for an album, which he plans to release next spring. Modest Mouse's latest album, The golden coffinin 2021.
