The Morgan Wallen Foundation is helping music students across the country by donating a total of $500,000 in musical instruments through the One Instrument at a Time initiative, in partnership with Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation.
The initiative donates musical instruments to schools in need in 14 cities visited this year by Wallen's One Night at a Time stadium tour. These cities include Arlington, Texas; Charlotte, NC; Denver? East Rutherford, NJ; Hershey, Pa.; Indianapolis; Kansas City, Mo. Las Vegas? Minneapolis? Nashville? Oxford, Miss. Philadelphia; Tampa, Florida? and Virginia Beach, Va.
For the past two years, 15-time Billboard Music Award winner Wallen has donated $3 from every US ticket sold on his 87-concert One Night at a Time World tour to his nonprofit Morgan Wallen Foundation, which supports youth programs in music and sports. . In 2023 alone, $1.3 million was distributed to communities across the country.
“When I was a child, access to music profoundly changed my life and gave me a sense of purpose. I want that for others and I am blessed to be able to provide instruments to these schools through my foundation,” Wallen said in a statement. “We really wanted to say a big thank you to these awesome communities that welcome us and let us play for our fans.”

In turn, we hope to impact children's lives by giving them access to learn and play music, which set the scene for Morgan's life.”

The One Instrument at a Time initiative is the latest offering by the Morgan Wallen Foundation. Last month, the foundation donated $500,000 to the American Red Cross to benefit relief efforts after Hurricane Helene. The Morgan Wallen Foundation also donated $140,000 to Gibbs Youth Sports, coinciding with Wallen's concert record at the University of Tennessee Knoxville's Neyland Stadium.
Last year, the Morgan Wallen Foundation made grants focused on revitalizing baseball parks in traveling cities, donations to Chicago Cubs Charities, Atlanta Braves Foundation, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville, Boston Red Sox Foundation.
