The country star is the latest to brand a honky-tonk near the center of the Broadway district. is scheduled to debut this summer
Country musician Morgan Wallen is opening a new venue in Nashville's Lower Broadway neighborhood this summer. “This Bar and Tennessee Kitchen,” as it has been named, will span six different floors, each fueled to create a unique customer experience.
“I'm singing about finding myself in this bar and now it's coming to life,” Wallen said in a statement about his latest effort, which opens this year. “This venue will be true to everything I love and inspired by my fans and the way they've embraced me and my music.” The site will also feature memorabilia from throughout his career.
He continued, “We're designing a menu around some of my family's favorites, so it brings a piece of East Tennessee to Music City. I hope this bar is a place you'll want to be and make memories with your friends and family and celebrate the way country music has brought us all together.”
This Bar and Tennessee Kitchen will be located on 4th Avenue, right near the Ryman Auditorium. The menu for the restaurant portion of the business will be created by Wallen alongside chef Tomasz Wosiak, who serves as VP of Culinary Development for TC Restaurant Group.

Earlier this month, Jon Bon Jovi announced plans to open JBJ's Nashville, a bar and restaurant that, like Wallen's space, will be located on 4th Avenue. Eric Church, Wallen's mentor, is also set to open Chief's this year, a multi-story entertainment destination. Church and Wallen recently teamed up to purchase Field & stream magazine and relaunch the outdoors brand online and in print.
