Mötley Crüe have announced a series of three intimate concerts at Sunset Strip clubs in October around the release of their new EP, Canceledwhich will be released on October 4th.
The official news comes after speculation over Labor Day weekend, when flyers were spotted around Los Angeles. Billed as the “Höllywood Takeöver,” the Crüe will return to their old haunts to play the Troubadour (Oct. 7); The Roxy (Oct. 9); and the Whisky a Go Go (Oct. 11).

To complete the 80s concert experience, tickets will be available beginning Saturday (September 14) at 10 a.m. PT. exclusively at the ticket offices of the three clubs and are sold only as “hard tickets”.
In addition to the intimate shows, Mötley Crüe will celebrate the new EP with a pop-up shop featuring exclusive merchandise curated by the band. The shop will open one day before the first show on October 6 at Rainbow Bar and Grill on the Sunset Strip and will remain open through October 12 (3 p.m. to midnight daily, Pacific Time).
The band has also launched a new philanthropic program, the Mötley Crüe Giveback Initiative, in which the veteran rock band will partner with different non-profit organizations in the future.
Ahead of the October shows, Mötley Crüe hopes to raise $250,000 for Covenant House, a nonprofit that supports homeless youth. Tickets for the shows at in-demand clubs, as well as the instruments played on stage, will be auctioned off through the band's website. charity siteand a charity dinner will be held at the Rainbow Bar and Grill on October 8.
For fans who can't make it to Los Angeles in October, there are still a few other opportunities to see the Crüe live before the end of the year, namely festival appearances at Louder Than Life and Aftershock (get tickets here here).
