A few weeks after performing his favorite album of 2006 The Black Parade in its entirety at the When We Were Young festival, My Chemical Romance announced a series of 2025 stadium shows where the band will also play the album in its entirety.
Produced by Live Nation, the 10-city stadium tour kicks off on July 11, 2025, in Seattle. My Chemical Romance will be joined by different openers at each of the 10 shows, with openers ranging from Death Cab to Cutie to Devo and Alice Cooper to Garbage.
On Monday (November 11), My Chemical Romance was released a graphic on her social channels teasing a new announcement, along with the question, “If you could be anything, what would you be?” The teaser followed the band's performance on October 20 The Black Parade in its entirety at When We Were Young in Las Vegas.
In 2022, My Chemical Romance reunited for a world tour that was originally scheduled to take place in 2020, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The band released a new single, “The Foundations of Decay”, in 2022 to coincide with their return to the stage.
