NAILS have announced their fourth studio album, Every bridge on fireavailable August 30, along with the lead single and opening track “Imposing Will.”
The California band will support the album with a short North American tour this fall. The initial leg (supported by 200 Stab Wounds and more) begins September 11 in Montreal and runs through September 20 in Brooklyn, New York.
NAILS will then play the New England Metal & Hardcore Festival on September 21 in Worcester, Massachusetts, before heading to the UK to take part in the Damnation Festival in Manchester on November 2. Finally, a short three-day tour of California with Xibalbá is planned for mid-November.

“Imposing Will” is NAILS’ first new music since 2019 and showcases every facet of the band’s sound, impressively in just one minute and 22 seconds. It opens with claustrophobic grindcore before giving way to a thrash breakdown and locked beat that's sure to rock the moshpit at upcoming gigs.
Nails singer and guitarist Todd Jones stated: “'Imposing Will' is special for the record because I knew we wanted it to be the opener. We wanted it to have the effect of urgency; an immediacy in the music itself. When you press play, they hit you in the face.”
Every bridge on fire was produced by Kurt Ballou at God City Studio and features the band's new lineup of Jones, drummer Carlos Cruz (Warbringer), bassist Andrew Solis (Despise You, Apparition) and guitarist Shelby Lermo (Ulthar).
