Nash can't get enough of Sin City. After three consecutive sold-out performances with the Las Vegas Philharmonic in celebration of IllmaticOn the 30th anniversary of Labor Day weekend, Nas extends his Las Vegas residency and partnership with AEG Presents to The Wynn's Encore Theater.
Bulletin board can exclusively reveal on Monday (September 9) that Nas will perform three more concerts scheduled for February 2025. The Queensbridge rap icon is set to take the stage at the Encore Theater on February 5, 7 and 8 during of Super Bowl weekend.
tickets are scheduled to go on sale to the general public for all three shows at the 1,400-capacity venue beginning on September 13 at 10am. PT on Ticketmaster. Prices start at $69.95 plus fees for balcony seating.
“Las Vegas has always served as a creative outlet for my music, and these shows will take it to the next level,” said Nas. Bulletin board in a statement in May. “I am thrilled to partner with the Las Vegas Philharmonic to bring this first-of-its-kind show to the Encore Theater and introduce my music to my Las Vegas fans in a whole new way.”
Bulletin board was set for the Aug. 31 show at Sin City, and Nas happened to tease that he was considering adding to the Encore Theater residency. “I could get used to doing this thing in Vegas,” he shared. “I might extend it.”
Nas took fans on a trip down memory lane throughout his 70-minute set in celebration of Illmatic30th anniversary earlier this year, which Bulletin board hailed as the No. 1 greatest rap album of all time.
In addition to tracks from Escobar's 1994 magnum opus with a classic twist from the orchestra, Nas also adds to his Vegas set with plenty of other hits from across his decorated catalog to round out the show.
