The duo released two tracks, “Endiamantado” and “Entre Las de 20”
Bizarrap follows up his explosive music session with Young Miko with another big collaboration — this time with Natanael Cano. On Wednesday, Biza re-entered the field of corridos tumbados as he released two singles, “Natanael Cano: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 59″ and “Entre Las 20”, alongside the Mexican star.
The videos for the two singles begin with Cano dropping bars (backed by a more electronic sound) in the studio from the perspective of a junkie with a penchant for diamonds and luxury. “The government's looking for me, but if there was a problem I'd jet off,” he raps before getting a call from El Chachito, who suggests he do just that: “Get out/The Attorney General's Office pulled up.”
After the first track (also titled “Endiamantado” or “Diamand-encrusted”) begins the cinematic video for “Entre Las 20”, the single that leans towards corridos tumbados. The video, directed by Copiloto and Nico Perez Veiga, opens with Cano riding horses next to Bizarrap on 9 de Julio Avenue in Buenos Aires while being watched by a strange man with angel wings.
At the end of the video, the duo is confronted by the wingman, who shoots Bizarrap. Cano then kills the man, who smiles as he hits the ground. In the lyrics for “Entre Las 20”, Cano tells one of his lovers that he is far from the best and just “una más del montón”. (Another from the crowd.)
The pair of singles marks Bizarrap's first release since joining Shakira on “La Fuerte” from her album Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran. As for Cano, he teamed up with Gabito Ballesteros for “El Boss” and “Proyecto X” and Oscar Maydon for “Madonna” earlier this year.
Bizarrap is set to make an appearance at Coachella next weekend, before several shows in May, including a stop at New York's Terminal 5 on May 22.
