Rock and country collide when Needtobreathe joins four-time Country Airplay chart topper Jordan Davis for a special taping of CMT Crossroads ahead of the upcoming 2024 CMT Music Awards, where they will also team up live for a first performance on Sunday, April 7, at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas. The CMT Music Awards will air on CBS and stream live and on-demand on Paramount+.
The movie about CMT Crossroads: Needtobreathe + Jordan Davis will be held before a live audience at the UT Tower on the UT Austin campus on Friday, April 5.
Davis is set to win his first trophies at this year's CMT Music Awards, as his video for “Next Thing You Know” earned him two award nominations, including Male Video of the Year and Video of the Year. Country Airplay chart toppers to date include 'Singles You Up', 'Slow Dance in a Parking Lot', 'What My World Spins Around' and the Luke Bryan collaboration 'buy Dirt'.
This isn't Needtobreathe's first CMT Music Awards performance. the band previously appeared on the show in 2021 to collaborate with Carrie Underwood on the song “I Wanna Remember”. The group has scored three No. 1 hits Advertising signThe chart's top rock albums, including 2011 The Accountof 2014 Rivers in the wilderness and of 2016 Tough Love. The band will delve into the country scene when Needtobreathe perform at the Country Calling festival in October.

CMT Crossroads, which premiered in 2002, pairs country artists to collaborate on stage with performers from a range of different genres as they deliver each other's songs and combine their artistry in duets.
