As NGHTMRE becomes a seasoned veteran, he uses his platform to support the top artists of the future.
ICON Collective is a California-based electronic music school responsible for several of the genre's biggest stars, including Kayzo, SLANDER, Sullivan King, Pauline Herr, and the late i_o, among others. A decade after graduating and releasing his namesake, NGHTMRE is partnering with his alma mater to award three full scholarships through its “Hero's Journey” program.
The “Hero's Journey” scholarship will provide three promising producers the opportunity to attend school in person for free at its Burbank campus. To participate, prospective students must submit a two-minute video describing their passion, vision, goals, and what makes them stand out among their peers.
ICON is accepting submissions now through December 6, 2024. Applications will be reviewed throughout the month and the trio of winners will be announced on January 13, 2025. Applicants must be over 17 years old and former school attendees They are not eligible. .
