With Nicki Minaj kicking off the second leg of her North American Pink Friday 2 World tour, it looks like she has music ready to give fans a brand new experience.
After announcing plans for her Pink Friday 2 deluxe on August 20, couldn't contain her excitement on Monday (August 26) for a recent studio session that produced a song she promises will be “probably” a fan favorite on deluxe and a “top five » from the PF2 season overall.
“Well Barbz- I really didn't want to have to talk about this but I can't keep quiet about it any longer,” she tweeted. “Last night, I recorded what will probably be your favorite song on the deluxe. He will immediately enter the TOP 5 of the entire PF2 era. OH MY WDRFFHJKGV.”
The Barbz went into a frenzy feeding off Nicki's joy. “I hope this is true. I don't think ruby red can come out on top, but we'll see.” a person he answered.
Another added: “OH I AM SAT!!!!!!!! RELEASE HER TONIGHT.''
Nicki also teased a verse from an unnamed artist that she received scheduled to land on the deluxe.
“WHOA,” he tweeted on August 22. DELUXE album.”
Fans started trying to guess who could be joining her on the record, but she didn't budge to keep it a surprise.
Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday 2 World tour is set to kick off again in Philly on September 4th. It will make stops in New York, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Diego, Kansas City, Jacksonville, Miami and more on its 22-city trek.
According to figures reported to Billboard Boxscore earlier in May, the Pink Friday 2 World tour grossed $67 million and sold 439,000 tickets for the first North American leg.
There is no specific release date on the calendar for the Pink Friday 2: Gag City Reloaded deluxe. PF2 was released in December 2023 and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 228,000 album units sold in its first week.
