Norah Jones has announced a summer tour of North America in support of her upcoming album, Visions. Additionally, she shared a new single from the album in the form of “Staring At the Wall.”
The 31-date tour kicks off May 6 in Boston and includes spring shows in Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Brooklyn and New York, where Jones will play the historic Apollo Theatre. His tour itinerary also includes summer shows at Red Rocks in Morrison, CO; The Masonic in San Francisco; and the Greek Theater of Los Angeles.

As for “Staring At the Wall,” Jones said it is “one of my favorites” from his new album. “It was kind of a left turn from everything else on the album. It's the first time I play guitar with Leon. [Michaels], we were just trying to think of something different. I got on the guitar and he got on the drums and everything took off. Sometimes it's a lot of fun to play music, and I feel like there were a lot of those moments on this album. He had a really cool guitar sound for me, so it felt good.”
Visions It officially arrives on March 8 via Blue Note. Jones previously previewed the album with the single “Running.”
